WIC recipients are having difficulty finding formula. Remind families there is NOT a shortage. Formula production has actually increased. The issue is grocery stores are having a hard time restocking. Families are advised to do the following two things.

1. Ask grocers if they have formula/items in the back (while keeping in mind that they are very busy and it may take some time).

2. If clients do have problems at the store they should contact the WIC Program Integrity Hotline at 1-866-229-6561.
