Neighbors at Work will continue to offer work-readiness workshops virtually including: employment referrals, resume workshops, employment case management, mock interviews, job coaching, job seeking help, and mental health referrals. Neighborhood Family Services
Food Bank - The NM Food Bank is open every Friday 8:00-11:00AM. To encourage social distancing, the Food Bank will now be operating as a Drive Thru model. As always, it is a first come, first serve process while supplies last, and we will not allow people to save places in line. Families may come to receive food ONCE A MONTH and only ONE person from each household may come to receive food ONCE A MONTH. We - the Food Bank Team - believe God has all of this in His control and we are here to serve His Kingdom on earth.
Parenting por Vida—Mejor Empiezo will continue to provide education on pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding through individual communication via phone appointments. We are also holding virtual classes on prenatal services and parenting education for new moms on Tuesdays at 10am via Zoom. Staff will be assisting with SNAP & SNAP CAN intake applications via phone. Neighborhood Spiritual Development

Home Check-ins - Pastor Jimy will continue to conduct home visitations for our most vulnerable community members.
Healing Journeys, a women’s support group that deals with life issues in a spiritually and emotionally healthy manner, will now be held virtually on Mondays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Please contact Manuela.Sheehan@nmphx.com for more info.
A NEW virtual Spanish Bible Study will be held on Thursdays from 10am to 11:30am. Info to follow.
Kids Life Monday Nights is still compelled and committed to being a beacon of hope for our community, especially our kids. The Monday Night team will alter our program to provide an alternative in light of the required public health guidelines. We have already rolled out a plan to continue our Monday Night program virtually; We are calling it Monday Night Live. You will receive a text message to inform you how you can allow your kids to engage.
Education for Life
Cyber Sueños - A virtual meeting for youth held every Wednesday at 6pm. We also have several weekly activities, like Scavenger Hunts, Art Class and Lotería through virtual meetings as well. Katy's Kids Preschool has transitioned to daily virtual lessons held by our director Lenny Reel. Parents have been contacted and given instructions on how to access these virtual classes.
