Position Overview:
The Student Ministries Intern supports the relational and administrative work of Neighborhood Ministries’ children and youth programming through consistent engagement with participants, families, and program systems. This role is designed as a formative opportunity for emerging leaders to develop skills in mentorship, program support, and community-based ministry.
Interns will contribute to both relational and operational aspects of the ministry, with a primary focus on home visitations, student engagement, registration processes, and communications support. Job Summary:
Case Managers (CMs) will work in tandem to directly provide the most comprehensive services of the Neighbors at Work – Level Up Youth workforce program, Title 1B Youth WIOA, to participants, ages 14-24. CMs will support, encourage, and guide youth to increase the success of goals & objectives and a healthy outlook of life.
CMs, in service delivery, are responsible for outreach and recruitment, development, assessment and coaching of the Individual Service Strategy (ISS) towards completion of goals, including enroll into occupational and skills training, Work Experience (WEX) opportunities, supportive services and any other workforce service as applicable. Communicate regularly with educators, mentors, and other professionals, generate reports, and produce and maintain valid data and comprehensive digital case files.
