Since 1982, Neighborhood Ministries has been serving Phoenix’s poorest, most vulnerable residents to meet their emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. At Neighborhood Ministries, we provide both outreach and empowerment programs. Our outreach programs are designed to meet our community’s most basic needs including food, community advocacy, youth programs, women and family support groups. Our empowerment programs have grown out of our long-term relationships, realizing that the children and families that we serve benefitted from case management, academic support, college or occupational skills training, and workforce development.
Where whole generations of families
have forever been changed
Neighborhood Ministries is a hub of community activity where basic necessities of life are joyfully met, including providing a safe place for youth to engage in sports, activities, and the arts. Whole generations of families have forever been changed by being shown a way out of the cycle of poverty that grips most urban communities. The results have been nothing short of miraculous and a testimony of the power of Jesus Christ to transform people using the faithful passion and work of the Founder and President Kit Danley and scores of faithful employees and volunteers making daily differences.
